MoMA: host museum at CTM12

Agenda is delighted to announce that MoMA will be playing a major role in our Communicating the Museum conference on 27-29 June.

MoMA's Allegra Burnette, Creative Director of Digital Media and Wendy Woon, Edward John Noble Deputy Director for Education will be involved in the speaker programme. In line with this year's theme, The World is Changing: How will museums adapt? Wendy Woon will share MoMA's latest work in creating an online education portal, with both instructor-led and self-guided courses for adults on modern and contemporary art. Allegra Burnette will explain how MoMA broadens its audience through new digital formats such as the museum's first ever iPad app for young children.

Kim Mitchell, MoMA's Chief Communications Officer, has organised an exclusive morning view for all CTM12 delegates on Wednesday 27 June. Away from the crowds, participants will be taken on guided tours of selected exhibitions and the museum’s permanent collections. Internationally renowned artist Taryn Simon will lead the tour of her own exhibition, A Living Man Declared Dead and Other Chapters.
