The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is kindly offering free access to delegates on Wednesday 27 and Saturday 30 June, upon presentation of the CTM12 badge.
The exhibition on view will be: Art of Another Kind: International Abstraction and the Guggenheim, 1949 - 1960. Comprising approximately one hundred works by nearly 70 artists, the exhibition explores international trends in abstraction in the decade before the Guggenheim's iconic Frank Lloyd Wright–designed building opened in 1959, when American and European artists pioneered such influential developments as Abstract Expressionism, CoBrA, and Art Informel.
