- Press campaign in France, 2001 - 2011

We worked with Visit Wales for over a decade, promoting Wales as a tourist destination across the French media. Our aim was to focus on a selection of themes, activities and events, and to plan targeted campaigns around each. We arranged numerous press trips for key journalists and secured marketing partnerships with major companies, raising awareness of Wales as a covetable destination for French tourists. We secured major TV coverage including a feature on Echappées Belles (prime time hour-long programme, France 5) and Arte (national TV). Radio coverage included a prime-time report on France Bleu (local radio station part of Radio France). We set up articles in national and regional newspapers including le Figaro, Le Monde, Métro, Ouest France, Sud Ouest, Le Télégramme. Features appeared in lifestyle and travel magazines such as: Côté Ouest, Version Fémina, Femme Actuelle, Le Figaro Madame, Terre Sauvage, Ulysse, Géo, Notre Temps, Voyageur, un Esprit d’ailleurs, l’Officiel Voyages, Désirs de Voyages. We also secured coverage in weekly news magazines such as le Point, Le Nouvel Obs, l’Express, Challenges, Le Figaro Magazine, Télérama – and many special interest magazines such as Golf Magazine, Neptune Yachting Moteur, Whisky Magazine, Canoe Kayak, l’Equipe Magazine and Pêche Mouche.
