Based in Saint-Nazaire (France), Alexia is a freelance arts writer and museum consultant who has been working for Agenda since 2018. Having worked and lived in France, the UK, the USA and Mexico, Alexia speaks fluent French, English and Spanish.
At Agenda, Alexia is in charge of writing our monthly articles and our global newsletter. She is also our #DoItDifferent podcast host and producer, as well as the community manager of our Slack group. Last but not least, she co-hosts our European and American conferences alongside Corinne Estrada. Before partnering with Agenda, Alexia worked as Arts Editor for F Newsmagazine where she was awarded the Pinnacle Award 2015 for best Newspaper News Page. She also has her own radio show dedicated to Community Arts on the non-profit European radio station Euradio
Alexia holds an MA in Arts Management from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; a PgDip in Community Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire; and a BA in Cultural and Social Anthropology from University College London. She is the founder of Artizest, a one-person company helping museums create inclusive and meaningful programs for and with their audiences.
