Museum Kunstpalast reopens 7 May
The Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf will soon reopen its doors to the public after a two-year renovation programme.
On 7 May, the museum will unveil a new presentation of 450 major pieces from the Middle Ages to the present day, including works by Max Beckmann, Giovanni Bellini, Bernardo Bellotto, Joseph Beuys, Arnold Böcklin, Jan Peeter Brueghell, Lucas Cranach d. Ä., Otto Dix, Max Ernst, Caspar David Friedrich, David Hockney, Angelika Kauffmann and many others.
The Museum Kunstpalast is a major Rhineland institution, holding a unique collection comprising painting, sculpture, graphic works, glass, arts and crafts as well as works in new media.
