Friday 14 September sees the official opening of the new arts space Éléphant Paname in the heart of Paris. Described by French daily paper Le Figaro as ‘a new temple of the arts, dedicated to dance and exhibitions’, this innovative project will bring together established and up-and-coming dance and visual art projects. Following a major renovation project this Belle Époque mansion will debut with its inaugural exhibition ‘EP! De l’air ou l’art en mouvement’. Covering 200m2, half of the space is dedicated to the public, welcoming art exhibitions, conferences and dance performances. The other half will be dedicated to professional dancers, theatre and performing arts troupes.
