Directors of the Met and Guggenheim join CTM12 speaker programme
We are delighted to announce that Thomas P. Campbell, Director and CEO of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Richard Armstrong, Director of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, will be joining our list of expert speakers at Communicating the Museum in New York, 27 - 29 June 2012.
Thomas Campbell and Richard Armstrong will take part in a panel discussion on The challenges of being a world museum alongside Dominique de Font Réaulx, Senior Curator at the Musée du Louvre and coordinator of the Louvre Abu Dhabi; Joanna Mackle, Director of Public Engagement at the British Museum and Wassan Al Khudairi, Director of Mathaf, Qatar. The discussion will be chaired by Arthur Cohen, CEO of LaPlaca Cohen, and will happen on 28 June at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
