The 15th edition of “Communicating the Museum”, the world’s leading conference in museum communications is coming to the buzzing city of Istanbul
After New York, Madrid, Stockholm and Sydney, the world’s leading arts communications conference "Communicating the Museum" will take place on 9 – 12 September 2015 in Istanbul.
The theme of the 15th conference will be “Contemporary”. During four days the participants will listen to inspiring keynote speeches and engaging panel discussions about how to confront the challenges of the museum world with contemporary and innovative ideas of the 21st century.
“Istanbul, with its exciting mix of ancient culture and heritage and its fast growing contemporary art scene has been the perfect choice for the 15th edition of “Communicating the Museum”, said Corinne Estrada, CTM Director. “In no other European city has the cultural scene changed as fast as in Istanbul in recent years. Istanbul will therefore be the ideal location for an inspiring and fascinating conference.”
Communicating the Museum 2015 will be officially introduced during CTM14 in Sydney on 7 November 2014.
