Following Anselm Kiefer in 2007 and Richard Serra in 2008, the Centre National des Arts Contemporains (CNAP), has invited leading French artist Christian Boltanski to be the guest artist at the next Monumenta exhibition.

Each year Monumenta invites a contemporary artist to fill the immense Nave of the Grand Palais with a new and unique work.

Monumenta takes 2010 takes place in January.
