Hired in 2002, we managed international press relations for eight years, covering  over 30 exhibitions. Our brief was to position the museum as one of the leading museums in the UK and the number one decorative arts museum in the world. Our communications plan focused on changing the perception of the V&A across Europe specifically. We forged partnerships with the most influential individuals and companies in the design and fashion industries across France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany in order to raise the museum’s international profile. We secured coverage across all the major titles in the international press, as well as specialist publications in each country.
