Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, Monaco
- Opening of Villa Sauber and Villa Paloma 2010
The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco was launched in 2010. The museum is spread across two sites, the Villa Sauber and Villa Paloma. It was conceived as part of a national campaign to promote Monaco as an art destination. We were appointed to manage the international press launch of both villas across the continental press. We also worked on the exhibition Looking up...™ Yinka Shonibare, MBE, shown at NMNN Villa Sauber, Monaco in June 2010 – January 2011. Acclaimed artist Yinka Shonibare was among a selection of artists, historians, designers and restaurateurs invited to work with the NMNM as part of an ongoing project looking at the notion of heritage and the way it is communicate to the public. Our press campaign for Looking up...™ helped generate a buzz around the show, with coverage appearing on France 24, Interview and ArtForum magazines online (USA), Le Monde, Libération, Les Inrocktuptibles and Numéro (France), Nice-Matin Monaco, Monopol (German monthly art magazine), Deutsche Presse Agentur, Süddeutsche Zeitung, L’Echo (Belgium), the Independent newspaper and Art Quarterly magazine (UK).
