- Europalia.China 2009 / Europalia.Europa 2007

Europalia is a major international arts festival held every two years to celebrate the cultural heritage of a particular country. We were hired to conduct a Europe-wide press campaign for Europalia.China 2009, having successfully worked on Europalia.Europa Le Grand Atelier 2007. Our target markets were France, Germany and the UK. Europalia was founded in 1969 in Belgium. Since then it has organised over twenty festivals. Each festival puts the spotlight on one particular culture, presenting a diverse programme of music, fine art, photography, cinema, theatre, dance, literature, architecture, design, fashion and gastronomy. In 2009, Europalia.China put on 48 exhibitions, 100 concerts, 188 literary encounters and seminars, 28 dance performances, 57 theatrical performances and 146 cinema screenings. The festival attracted 1,101,175 visitors and spectators. In 2007, Europalia.Europa celebrated creativity across Europe. ‘Le Grand Atelier’ was one of the highlights of the festival, bringing together 350 art works from 22 European countries in the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels.
